Can human skin be turned into leather?

Any skin can be made into leather. It becomes leather once it has passed through the tanning process.

I have seem some old women that must have lived outdoors and in the south too. Their skin was so tanned and rough looking, I thought they had a skin tight leather coat on. Their faces looked really bad. So I suppose they could, I know this one woman was well on her way there. good luck and use sun block.

Reply:somewhat, the nazis made lampshades out of human skin, the european settlers in this country used native americans for razor strops and boots and saddle accessories.
