Cold air holds less moisture.

Why human skin become dry in winter season?
don't know, but I know black folks really have a hard time during the winter season. NEXT QUESTION!
Reply:Human skin often becomes dry in the winter season because in certain climates, particularly those that experience cold winter, the humidity that is found in the air is of a substantially lower percentage. Humidity is the water concentration of the air around us, and in winter weather the concentration of water in the air is low which therefore causes the skin to become dryer than in the summer, which is when humidity is higher.
Reply:Due to low moisture content of the atmosphere
Reply:The effects of low humidity on the skin often result in dryness and scaling of the skin, itching, rashes, and infections such as impetigo
