Aids is real, why can't the sci-ist develop drug that is resistant to stop semen from penetrating human skin?

they did its called a condom! now its up to the people to use it!

Aids is real, why can't the sci-ist develop drug that is resistant to stop semen from penetrating human skin?
The problem is that something else is penetrating, if an AIDS infected person's semen just gets on you you dont get AIDS.
Reply:Well, if they somehow suceeded in doing that- it would spell the end of the human race. Semen that could be repelled by skin would certainly not make it through the cellular membrane covering the ova for fertilization either. No fertilized ova, no human beings. And I hate to tell you, you don't get HIV via semen on the skin. It's spread primarily through blood contact, and through mucous membranes.
Reply:What good would that do?

HIV is a disease that is transmitted by direct body fluid contact.

Unless you had an open wound on your skin somewhere and somehow got semen in that open wound, there is no direct body fluid contact.

Reply:You seem to have a poor grasp of how viruses are transmitted. Skin needs to "breathe" and viruses are smaller than air molecules.
Reply:Aids is spread through the mucus membranes, not the skin.
Reply:HIV is passed through bodily fluids, not through general contact through the skin, unless you happened to get the semen of an infected person in an open cut or wound.

And if they had the capacity to make a drug that could do such a thing, wouldn't it be better to have a drug that will kill the HIV virus? Wouldn't that be better? Or better yet; a vaccine to prevent the disease from spreading altogether like they did with polio and small pox?

Your idea is not a practical one.
Reply:aids is a virus, very small

it is able to penetrate the cell membrane easily

if you make something to prevent things from going through the cell membrane, the organism will die from oxygen starvation first, and then by starvation of food combined with dehydration and cell poisoning by its own wastes

next question
Reply:Semen does not penetrate human skin. It penetrates areas which have mucus membranes. The virus is not only transmitted by semen, but also by "pre-***", vaginal fluid and vaginal secretion and all body fluids if it contains blood.
Reply:Dear Mr. Handsame,

Yes, AIDS is real. On the contrary, it is NOT contracted via semen penetrating human skin. The virus lives in body fluids. When body fluids are exchanged, the virus can be passed from one person to the other. Usually, exchange of body fluids involves parts of the body with mucus membranes (mouth, vagina, urethra in the penis, or rectum). Tissues that make up the mucus membranes are delicate, permeable and highly vascularized. That is why they are such good portals for transmission of the virus.

As far as answering why scientists can't develop a drug resistant to the virus........ Well, the sneaky thing about viruses is that they are able to totally change the way they look, act and react. A virus, everytime it replicates itself, will be an entirely new micro-organism. For this reason, scientist are not able to develope one drug resistant to the organism.
