What kind of parasitegrows out of a blister full of puss on the human skin, and it looks like a worm?

Several parasitic worms can infest the human body and erupt as described .

Gross, call your Dr.!!!
Reply:Well, first of all, pus only has one "s". I'm not sure the answer to your question though.
Reply:That sounds like ringworm to me.

P.S.--I know ringworm is not actually a real worm (you just said it LOOKS like a worm)---however it is a fungus (kind of parasite) that grows in the skin.
Reply:There are flies and other critters which deposit their egg under the skin..But this does not occur if you have a blister created by burn or friction.. Unless it has been opened and a fly has deposited an egg there.. thus a maggot forms.
Reply:I think it is like what cows get....larva from a fly.....lays egg under skin and then pusses up like a nasty sore and a little worm (larva) comes out. Dont remember what they are called though.
Reply:It is called a botfly. A fly deposited her egg on you and you are the host. Watched a show about it once. If you are brave enough take tweezers and sterilize them, pull it out thru opening. the opening is where it breathes. or like the show said put a piece of fatty meat on the opening it will go thru that to get air. i'd just use tweezers
Reply:Ringworm is NOT a worm!!!

It is a fungus that causes a ring that LOOKS like it could be a worm but it isn't actually a worm. (PS the weblink states this VERY clearly)

Just need to point that out. Otherwise i have no clue what the thing growing out of your blister is, but it sounds ucky so go to a dr.
Reply:NO clue but ewe!
