Is true that us Human-Beings suppose to have Dark Skin?

I been hereing things like us humans need dark skin to protect us from the sun so we want get skin cancer or something like that but I'm debating is that true or not. I mean this not racists at all. I'm light skin African-American and the sun always wanted to follow me but I think it wants to be my friend or something because it always on me(LOL).

Wrong. Black people CAN get skin cancer they just wouldn't get it as easily as a white person. The reason black people are brown (so i don't know why they're called black) is because they have melanin in their skin. Melanin helps prevent the sun from damaging your skin cells. It is not 100% effective though so don't just assume that because you are black your skin can't get damaged because it can.

Reply:Only the dark skinned people are supposed to be dark skinned.
Reply:Obviously not. If all human being were supposed to have dark skin...we'd all be dark skinned.





Our bodies are designed to be able to adapt to our environment. Africa's sunny, so you got dark skinned people. Europe is cold, so you got white people. etc...

Reply:what was said is that havein dark skin protects us from the uv rays that the sun gives off it doesnt stop us from gettin skin cancer but the chances are less likely
Reply:I know what your saying I've heard it also(Because supposedly all human beings came from Africa so we are all suppose to be dark but then some decided to travel to Europe and after a while they became albino Blonde hair,blue eyes thus making up the white race (and that's why the white race gets skin cancer)I don't know if it is true though





But Black people can still get skin cancer just not as easily

This is not only a lie to claim that Vin Diesel, Lenny Kravitz and Mariah Carey are black...but, historically, this has been a strategic tool in making authentic black people invisible and keeping them from having representation of their own group. By putting mixed and yellow people in their place, celebrating and elevating Mulatto images as “normal” and castigating Blackness as something to be “evolved” from..and in particular, this has been the way that the authentic Black woman’s image has been denigrated, disallowed and killed by her own black children in the west...by pretending that Lena Horne is the mother of the Black Americans, when the truth is...Esther Rolle and Cicely Tyson are what the mothers of the Black Ameicans actually looked like. The Black Americans being the children of the West and Central African Kingdoms.
